Mighty K9 Testing and Quality: What Is Known and What Is Not Published
Mighty K9 shows GMP and Made in USA badges, but no certifier or audit is named. There is no NASC Quality Seal and no published certificate of analysis. C60 oils can vary in purity and break down in light, so ask the seller for lab results for your lot and keep the bottle cool and dark.

The facts
Has Mighty K9 been third-party tested?
Not that anyone has published. No independent lab report for Mighty K9 is public, and the bottle carries no third-party quality seal.
That does not mean the oil is bad. It means you cannot check purity or strength yourself. Here is what the label, the badges and the sales page do and do not show.
| Ingredients printed | Yes: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, ESS60 and Bacon Flavor. |
|---|---|
| ESS60 amount printed | Yes: 1.6 mg per 2 mL (0.8 mg/mL) |
| GMP badge | Yes, a brand badge; no certifier or audit named |
| Made in USA badge | Yes; olive oil origin not printed |
| NASC Quality Seal | Not shown |
| Certificate of analysis | Not published |
| C60 purity result | Not published |
| Contaminant tests | Not published |
| Lot and CoA codes | MK-26/MY-8762 and MK-8762-26-MY: seller reference codes, not lab proof |
Badges
What do the Mighty K9 GMP and Made in USA badges mean?
They are brand graphics. They describe claims; no outside body is named behind them.

A brand badge. No certifier, audit report or facility is named on the label or the sales page.

A brand badge. The olive oil's country of origin is not printed.

A purchase policy, not a promise of results. Return shipping is not included.
Good Manufacturing Practice is a set of rules for clean, consistent production. A GMP badge is meaningful when a named auditor checked a named facility. Mighty K9's red roundel names neither, so treat it as the brand's own statement. The blue Made in USA roundel tells you where the product was made, not where the olive oil was pressed. The guarantee seal is a refund policy, explained on the guarantee page.
On the bottle
What does the Mighty K9 label tell you about quality?
The label is short and complete except for the flavor's source. Every readable line is typed out below.

A full label is a good sign, but it is a promise, not a test result. Only a lab report shows whether a bottle holds what the label says. For line-by-line notes, see the Guaranteed Analysis explained.
Why it matters
Does C60 purity vary between supplements?
Yes. A 2021 mouse study bought commercial C60 oils and found they varied in concentration and purity (Grohn et al., 2021). The same study found that C60 in olive oil broke down in light, with a half-life of about 2 days, and the light-exposed oil caused illness and deaths in mice.
So two questions matter for any C60 oil, Mighty K9 included. Was the C60 pure when it went in? And was the oil kept dark from the factory to your kitchen? The label answers neither.
Pet supplements in general have a testing problem. The AVMA reports that many supplements fail tests for potency and contaminants (AVMA, Assessing pet supplements). Animal supplements are not covered by the human supplement law, and FDA does not pre-approve pet foods (FDA, Pet Food). Quality depends on the maker's own checks, which is why a published lab report matters.
Never leave the bottle in sun or bright light, even for a day. If the oil smells sharp or sour, stop using it and call the order desk.
Lab reports
What should a Mighty K9 certificate of analysis show?
A certificate of analysis, or CoA, is a lab's report on one batch. A useful one has these parts.
| Test or detail | What it shows | Published for Mighty K9? |
|---|---|---|
| Lab name and accreditation | Who tested it, and that the lab is independent | Not published |
| Lot number and test date | Ties the report to your bottle | Seller gives a reference code only |
| C60 content (mg/mL) | Whether each bottle has the 0.8 mg/mL the label implies | Not published |
| C60 purity | Share of the carbon that is C60, not other fullerenes | Not published |
| Oxidation of the oil | Whether the olive oil is fresh or going rancid | Not published |
| Heavy metals and solvents | Leftovers from making or dissolving C60 | Not published |
| Microbes | Basic safety of the batch | Not published |
A CoA that lists only a code and a "pass" with no lab name, numbers or date tells you very little.

Order nowYour questions
What should I ask the Mighty K9 seller about quality?
Ask for paperwork, in writing. Phone +1 (302) 200-3480 or write to [email protected], giving your order ID.
Can I see the CoA for my lot?
Ask for the full lab report, not just the reference code.
Who did the GMP audit?
Ask for the certifier's name and the facility.
Where is the olive oil from?
The badge covers manufacture, not the oil's origin.
What is in the bacon flavor?
Matters for dogs with food allergies.
Is the ESS60 bought from SES Research?
ESS60 is their trademark for C60 (USPTO via Justia, ESS60).
A clear answer is a good sign. No answer is useful too. Either way, you can return an unwanted order within the refund window.

Seals explained
Does Mighty K9 have the NASC Quality Seal?
No. Mighty K9 does not show the National Animal Supplement Council seal. To earn it, a company must pass an independent quality audit, keep written quality procedures and a complaint system, and run random outside lab tests of its label claims (NASC, Quality Seal).
The seal covers quality and labeling. It does not prove a product works. Still, it is the one widely used outside check for U.S. animal supplements. Its absence is a fair point to weigh, alongside the batch codes the seller gives.
At home
How do I keep Mighty K9 in good condition?
Store it cool, dark and closed. The product page says "Store in a cool and dark place."
- Keep it in the amber bottle, inside a cupboard.
- Close the cap right after each serving.
- Do not move it into a clear container.
- Finish one bottle in its 30 days rather than opening several at once.
FAQ
Questions on Mighty K9 testing and quality
Is Mighty K9 third-party tested?
No third-party test results for Mighty K9 are published. The bottle shows GMP and Made in USA badges without naming a certifier, and it has no NASC Quality Seal. Ask the seller for the full lab report for your lot by calling the order desk with your order ID.
Is Mighty K9 GMP certified?
The brand shows a red GMP roundel, but no certifier, audit report or facility is named on the label or sales page. That makes it a brand statement, not a checkable certificate. Ask the seller who audited the facility and when, and request a copy in writing.
Is there a certificate of analysis for Mighty K9?
None is published. The seller gives a CoA reference code, but a code is not a lab report. A real certificate would name the lab, the lot, the test date, and results for C60 content, purity, oil freshness and contaminants. Ask for it before you buy if it matters to you.
Is ESS60 better than other C60 for dogs?
No study compares ESS60 with other C60 in dogs. ESS60 is a trademark of SES Research Inc. for its C60 ingredient. A 2021 mouse study found commercial C60 oils varied in purity, so a named supplier may help, but only a lab report can show what is in your bottle.
Can C60 oil go bad?
Yes. A 2021 mouse study found C60 in olive oil breaks down in light, and the light-exposed oil made mice ill. Olive oil can also go rancid. Keep the bottle closed in a dark cupboard and stop if the oil smells sour or sharp.
Does the FDA test Mighty K9 before it is sold?
No. FDA does not pre-approve pet foods or animal supplements before sale. Animal supplements must be safe and truthfully labeled. A product sold to treat or prevent a disease would legally be an animal drug, which Mighty K9 is not.
