Mighty K9 Disclaimer: What the Site and the Product Are Not

Quick answer

Mighty K9 is a supplement for dogs, not a veterinary drug, and the FDA has not evaluated these statements. The site is information, not veterinary advice, and results vary from dog to dog. Mymightyk9 is the U.S. stocking partner, not the manufacturer, and earns money from order links. In an emergency, call your vet or ASPCA at (888) 426-4435.

FDA statement

Is Mighty K9 evaluated or approved by the FDA?

No. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Mighty K9 is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease in dogs.

That wording is common on human supplements. For dogs the rules differ. The human supplement law, DSHEA, does not apply to animal products (AVMA, Assessing pet supplements). FDA does not pre-approve pet foods (FDA, Pet Food). A product sold to treat or prevent disease in animals counts as a drug under federal law (FDA, Unapproved Animal Drugs). Mighty K9 is sold as a supplement, so it is not FDA-approved and is not a veterinary drug.

Not vet advice

Is the site a substitute for my veterinarian?

No. We write for dog owners in general, not for your dog. Only your vet can examine your dog, find the cause of a problem and prescribe treatment.

Stiffness, slowing down and trouble with stairs can be signs of arthritis pain (Merck Vet Manual, Osteoarthritis). They deserve an exam. Never give your dog human pain relievers such as ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or acetaminophen unless your vet tells you to (FDA, Pain Relievers for Pets). Read the senior dog joint guide for the steps vets put first.

Results

Will Mighty K9 work for every dog?

No one can promise that. Results vary from dog to dog, and some owners will see no change.

No controlled clinical trial has tested C60 or ESS60 in dogs. The only dog data is six beagles given a different C60 oil for nine days, with one blood marker measured (Hui et al., 2023). The sales FAQ says owners often notice changes in two to three weeks and full results between weeks eight and twelve. Those are the seller's words, not trial results. The 30-day money-back window is shorter than that 8-12 week span.

Lean weight, gentle exercise and vet care still matter most for joints (ACVS, Osteoarthritis in Dogs).

Studies and claims

How should I read the studies and sales claims on the site?

Read them as we label them. Sales-page claims are the seller's words, and we always say so. Study results are reported as published, with a link, and we name the animal, the dose and the size.

Most C60 research is in rats and mice, not dogs. The 2012 rat lifespan study had about six rats per group (Baati et al., 2012). A larger 2021 mouse study found no lifespan benefit (Grohn et al., 2021). The only formal safety study, 14 days in rats, was funded by SES Research, and two authors co-own that company (Burres et al., 2024).

Facts can change as new studies appear or the label is updated. We date every page and fix errors we find. If you spot one, email [email protected]. For the full list of sources, see the ESS60 ingredient page.

Who we are

Who runs the site, and how does it make money?

Mymightyk9 runs this site. We are the U.S. stocking partner for Mighty K9, not its manufacturer. The brand named on the bottle makes the product.

We earn money when you buy through our order buttons. That is an affiliate relationship, and it gives us a reason to want you to buy. We balance it by citing sources, printing the weak points and never inventing reviews.

Product facts come from the bottle label and the brand's pages. If they change, the label wins. See our editorial standards and about page.

Badges

What do the Mighty K9 badges mean?

Three brand graphics appear on the sales page. Each is described below as it is, not as an endorsement.

Good Manufacturing Practice badge
Good Manufacturing Practice

A brand badge. No certifier, audit report or facility is named on the label or the sales page.

Made in USA badge
Made in USA

A brand badge. The olive oil's country of origin is not printed.

30-day empty bottle guarantee badge
30-day empty bottle guarantee

A purchase policy, not a promise of results. Return shipping is not included.

Mighty K9 shows no NASC Quality Seal, the audit-based seal used for animal supplements (NASC, Quality Seal). More detail is on the testing and quality page.

Reviews

How does the site handle Mighty K9 reviews?

We show a review only after the order desk matches it to a real order and the buyer agrees to publish it. No reviews are verified yet, so the review slots are empty.

  • No star rating or order count until real reviews support it.
  • No paid reviews, and no edits beyond typos.
  • Negative reviews are published too.
  • Large customer counts on the sales page are not repeated, because we cannot check them.

The FTC bans fake and paid-for-sentiment reviews (FTC, Fake Reviews Rule, 2024).

Emergencies

Who do I call if my dog has a bad reaction?

  1. Your vet

Call first for vomiting, diarrhea, not eating, limping or crying out.

  2. ASPCA Poison Control

    (888) 426-4435, 24/7. A fee may apply (ASPCA Animal Poison Control).

  3. Report it

FDA Form 1932a, [email protected], or 1-888-FDA-VETS (FDA, Report Animal Drug Side Effects). Keep the bottle and lot.

FAQ

Mighty K9 disclaimer FAQ

Does Mighty K9 have FDA approval for dogs?

No. Mighty K9 is not FDA-approved and is not a veterinary drug. FDA does not pre-approve pet supplements or foods (FDA, Pet Food). A product sold to treat disease in animals would count as a drug (FDA, Unapproved Animal Drugs), so it is sold as a supplement only.

Is the Mighty K9 website run by the manufacturer?

No. Mymightyk9, the U.S. stocking partner, runs the site. The brand named on the bottle makes the product. We earn money from order links, and we say so on every page footer.

Are the Mighty K9 badges certifications?

No. The GMP and Made in USA roundels are brand graphics with no certifier or audit named. The 30-day seal is a purchase policy, not a promise of results. There is no NASC Quality Seal.

What should I do if my dog drank too much Mighty K9?

Call your vet or ASPCA Animal Poison Control at (888) 426-4435, open 24/7 (ASPCA Animal Poison Control). Keep the bottle so you can read the label and lot code. A fee may apply for the poison line.

Are the Mighty K9 reviews on this site real?

No reviews are shown yet, because none have been matched to an order. We publish only order-matched reviews with the buyer's consent, and never sample names or star ratings.

Can I report a problem with a dog supplement to the FDA?

Yes. Use Form FDA 1932a, emailed to [email protected], or call 1-888-FDA-VETS (FDA, Report Animal Drug Side Effects). Keep the packaging and lot number. You can also use the FDA Safety Reporting Portal (FDA, Report a Pet Food Complaint).
